Festival Executive

Salary: £24,000 t0 £28,000

Into Film is an education charity that puts film at the heart of children and young people’s educational, cultural and personal development. We are proud to say that over half of UK schools engage with our exciting programme of film clubs, cinema screenings, resources and training.

Leading film charity is looking for the Festival Executive who will work on the Into Film Festival year-round, providing a pivotal role in the event logistics and contributing to the ongoing success of the project from planning through to delivery. The role requires to contribute to the whole Into Film Festival project proceeding on time and to brief. Maintain good relationships with all stakeholders (exhibition, distribution & print movement) and contribute to the recruitment and management of over 600 exhibitors. Work with the marcomms team to ensure all festival resources, information packs and collateral are proofed and ready for launch

The successful applicant will have experience of working in the film industry, on a film festival or on a large-scale cultural event. Excellent administration skills, verbal and written communication skills and a confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels. The ability to work autonomously, in a highly-organised manner, with good time management skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure, remaining professional at all times.
