Bar Supervisor

Salary: £17,326 - £20,411

The Queen’s Film Theatre is a unique cultural venue with almost 50 years of experience of bringing a high quality film experience to Belfast audiences. The QFT is also a friendly, intimate cinema that values its audiences, as without their loyalty, support and interest in our programme, QFT would not be able to exist.

The bar supervisor will assist the Queens Film Theatre operations manager in delivery of their public programme. As bar supervisor, you will ensure the front of house area and QFT in general, runs in an efficient and high quality manner within legislative and procedural guidelines.
The successful candidate will:
• Coordinate and manage all details of day to day operations at QFT while on shift
• Organise daily, weekly and monthly tasks relating to general operations and specific bar operations
• Plan ahead for forthcoming events at QFT
• Manage bar product lines to achieve set out goals for income and profit margin
• Monitor and replenish stock levels following set ordering procedures
• Liaise daily and weekly with QFT Operations Manager, QFT staff and other stake holders
• Manage all aspects of venue safety, customer service and day to day operations
• Carry out day to day and other routine box office duties as requested including ticket sale, reporting, records maintenance and customer enquires
