Projectionist / AV Technician

Salary: £18,258 pro rata

The purpose if this role is to deliver Watershed’s technical programme which includes film projection, live events and conferencing. Applicants will need to demonstrate good technical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills.

Being a Watershed Projectionist/AV Technician is more than projecting feature films. Those familiar with Watershed will know there are many strands of activity in the organisation. They expect their technicians to be able to play an active role in the technical delivery of many different types of events and screenings that require a considered approach and an attention to detail, backed up with a strong technical know-how. These events could be Q&As, conferences, showcases, live music or short film programmes, to name a few. Watershed are looking for someone who has regular experience with projectors, whether that’s cinema projectors or data projectors.
