Tilly Walnes (Training and Development Manager)
Tilly studied BA French and Philosophy at UCL, which included a year in Paris, mostly spent in the city's cinemas. After a brief stint in marketing, she spent three years working in the Education department of the BFI, working on projects such as an international conference on media education and coordinating courses in Film Journalism and Programming Cultural Cinema. For two years of her life she spent her free waking hours studying for an MA at Birkbeck in History of Film and Visual Media. She was pleased to join the ICO in April 2007 and delighted to get her weekends back a few months later.
