Programme Manager
Shape, London
Salary £25,907- £28,634 plus benefits. Fixed term contract until January 2012
Shape is looking for a focused, confident and highly professional manager to help develop Shape's exciting and diverse range of quality arts projects and services.
Shape is a disability-led arts organisation working to improve access to culture for disabled people. We develop opportunities for disabled artists, train cultural institutions to be more accessible to disabled people, and run participatory arts and development programmes.
The outstanding candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of project work including one large-scale project, Articulate.
Proven project management experience and a track record of successful delivery of large-scale arts programmes or events, including event management experience is required. Our accessible offices are based in Kentish Town, London. Appointments are subject to reference and CRB checks.

iShed Coordinator

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and highly organised graduate to join a leading cross artform organisation as a project and events coordinator. This one-year, entry level post offers the opportunity to learn and hone project facilitation skills and develop excellent relationships across creative, digital and academic organisations. This role will provide a brilliant grounding in the skills and knowledge necessary to be a successful producer working in the arts.
This role is supported by the DCMS Jerwood Creative Bursaries Scheme. As part of the scheme, the successful candidate will also be assigned a mentor and encouraged to take part in structured networking opportunities throughout their placement.

Assistant in Theatrical Sales
Icon Film Distribution Ltd., London
An opportunity has arisen within the Theatrical Sales division of Icon Film Distribution for an Assistant to join the team.
The person will be responsible for assisting the Sales Support Manager and the Sales team who organise the bookings for UK cinema releases. Some of the duties will include:
- Working closely with EDI collating and reporting Box Office data
- Processing all bookings and ensuring relevant contracts are produced and checked on time
- Maintaining details and records on our systems
- Updating the www.iconmovies.co.uk website and assisting with each of the films e–newsletters
- Arranging various screenings
- Researching current and new films in the market and assisting with the release planning process.
The ideal person will have a minimum of one year's experience gained in a support role with:
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Word & Excel
- A passion for film
- A good understanding of the geography of the UK

Events Coordinator
Brightside Project, Sheffield

The Brightside Project is a new, award-winning arts venue in Sheffield providing a wide range of cultural events for local people including theatre, film, music, dance, conferences and workshops (see www.brightside-project.com).
An opportunity has arisen for an events coordinator to build on the Project's success and take the venue forward to the next stage of this exciting journey.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will ensure the successful delivery of events on site and develop new partnership / business opportunities for the venue. You will also take lead responsibility for promoting the venue, securing grant funding and ensuring excellent customer service.
Day-to-day duties will involve building relationships with local partners, coordinating schedules, producing marketing materials, maintaining a stakeholder database, handling bookings, budgeting and dealing with complaints; your duties will also involve day-to-day operational maintenance of the venue and general administration.
The ideal candidate will be degree-educated with a proven experience in arts events management / promotion, marketing and partnership working. You will be well-organised and self-motivated with lots of imagination and creativity. You will also be friendly and articulate with the ability to communicate well with a wide range of groups and people. Computer skills, an eye for detail and the ability to complete tasks on time and under pressure with minimal supervision is also required. An interest in culture and the arts is essential.
